The North Carolina Military Historical Society aims to preserve and honor the rich military traditions and history of the men and women of the State from the colonial period to present. The society has concentrated its efforts on collecting military artifacts and memorabilia while studying our proud military history and the bravery, sacrifices, and challenges our men and women faced and conquered.

Membership in the Society provides the necessary means for us to continue to operate the Military History Museum at Fort Fisher and publish the semiannual history magazine, RECALL.
