National Guard members may enjoy benefits through their interaction with various military associations and other professional groups. These organizations support, promote, and develop the interests of our Armed Forces and military professionals. Military Associations include the North Carolina National Guard Association (NCNGA), the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS), and the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS).
These three organizations provide a number of forums that foster military professionalism and development. Additionally, the NCNGA, NGAUS, and EANGUS work to increase awareness of the mission of the National Guard, advocate for Guard friendly legislation, and provide a number of benefits.
Membership to the NCNGA is open to all ranks, NGAUS membership is primarily focused on the officer ranks, and EANGUS focused on the enlisted ranks. However, officers are encouraged EANGUS as well (Annual Membership is $12.00).
In order to make Soldiers and Airmen aware of these organizations you can download both an Officers and NCO Professional Development Presentation below. Also available is general membership information for both NGAUS and EANGUS.
